Objective

To give students a basic understanding of physiology systems and pathologies of the human body and how they relate to bodywork. By the end of the course, students will learn the functions of the physiology systems and have an idea of what to favour and avoid in their bodywork practice for specific pathologies.

  • Module 1: Intro to Physiology and Pathology
  • Module 2: Skeletal and Articular System
  • Module 3: Muscular System
  • Module 4: Cardiovascular System
  • Module 5: Respiratory System
  • Module 6: Integumentary System
  • Module 7: Nervous System
  • Module 8: Digestive System

 

Every Module offers: a pre-recorded video presentation, Powerpoint notes, and a quiz.

Also included: 2 live online Q&A sessions (2 hours each) where you can interact with a teacher and get your questions answered.

Evaluation: You will be graded on 2 assignments and a final take-home exam, all submitted online.
