These policies are effective as of January 2025.

COURSE BUNDLES POLICIES
Refund and Credit Policy for Cancellation, Transfer or Withdrawal for Bundles
BUNDLE OR COURSES CANCELLED BY LOTUS PALM
1. Lotus Palm reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any bundle or courses at any time without notice. In this event, a transfer to a future bundle or course at our Montreal Centre within the year will apply or a complete refund of tuition will be issued. Lotus Palm will not be held responsible for expenses incurred by students.
APPLICANT NOT ACCEPTED IN COURSE
2. Lotus Palm will provide a full refund, minus a non-refundable administration fee of 200$ if you are not accepted in the course due to unmet prerequisites or otherwise.
NOTICE SENT 15 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO START DATE OF 1ST COURSE IN BUNDLE
3.1 If you submit a written cancellation notice at least 15 business days prior to the start date of the first course in the bundle, Lotus Palm will provide a full refund, minus a non-refundable administration fee of 200$ and minus any transaction fees associated with your payments or refunds.
OR
3.2 If you submit a written transfer notice at least 15 business days prior to the start date of the first course in the bundle, Lotus Palm will provide a credit to be used for a one-time transfer to a different course or bundle, minus a $50 processing fee.
NOTICE SENT BETWEEN 1 AND 14 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF 1ST COURSE IN BUNDLE
4.1 If you submit a written cancellation notice between 1 and 14 business days prior to the start date of the first course in the bundle, Lotus Palm will provide a refund of all payments made, minus a deduction of 15% of the total bundle tuition fee and minus a non-refundable administration fee of 200$.
OR
4.2 If you submit a written transfer notice at least between 1 and 14 business days prior to the start date of the first course in the bundle, Lotus Palm will provide a credit to be used for a one-time transfer to a different course or bundle, minus a deduction of 15% of the total tuition fee for the bundle and minus a $50 processing fee.
NOTICE SENT AFTER THE START DATE OF 1ST COURSE IN BUNDLE
5.1 If you submit a written cancellation notice on or after the start date of the first course in the bundle, you will not receive a refund for the value of the first course in question. However, Lotus Palm will provide a refund for the remaining difference in bundle tuition fees minus a non-refundable administration fee of 200$, on a pro-rata basis for bundle tuition paid in full OR according to the À La Carte prices for partially paid bundle tuition.
OR
5.2 If you submit a written transfer notice on or after the start date of the first course in the bundle, you will not receive a credit for the value of the first course in question. However, Lotus Palm will provide a credit for the remaining difference in bundle tuition fees minus a 50$ processing fee, on a pro-rata basis for bundle tuition paid in full OR according to the À La Carte prices for partially paid bundle tuition to be used for a one-time transfer to a different course or bundle.
NO REFUND OR CREDIT
6.1 If you submit a written withdrawal or transfer notice less than 1 business day prior to the start date of any course in the bundle, you will not receive a refund or credit for the value of the course in question.
6.2 If you do not attend the first day of class without giving notice as outlined in these policies, you will be considered withdrawn from the course and will not receive a refund or credit for the value of the course in question.
6.3 If you leave early, miss part(s) of the course, or do not complete the requirements for the course, you will not receive a refund or credit for the value of the course in question.
6.4 If you miss seven (7) consecutive instructional days without prior notice and are considered unexcused, you will be considered withdrawn from all courses in the bundle and will not receive any refund or credit.
Bundle Tuition Payments in Instalments
CHANGES TO SCHEDULED INSTALMENTS
7. Any changes to the scheduled instalments as outlined in the description of the bundle or at checkout will incur an administrative fee of $25.
UNPAID INSTALMENTS
8.1 Scheduled instalments that are not paid due to insufficient funds or otherwise, will result in an additional charge of $45.
8.2 You may not be granted entry to a course until the instalment in question has been paid. Should you miss the beginning or part(s) of a course due to an unpaid instalment, no refund or credit will be granted as outlined in policies 6.1 and 6.2 above.
CERTIFICATIONS POLICIES
Thai Massage Certifications:
Specialized Courses Certifications:
1. Students must complete all the requirements listed in the appropriate Certification application form.
(Requirements vary for each certification for Montreal as well as On-The-Road students.)
2. Students must fill out the appropriate Certification application form and send it along with all required documents.
3. A Certification application fee applies for each certification. This fee is non-refundable.
4. Additional copies for any certificate are $50/each.
5. Payments are accepted in Canadian and American currency by credit card or cash.
6. Students have a 1-year limit to complete EACH CERTIFICATION after completing:
7. Students who exceed the 1-year limit to complete each certification will need to:
A) Pay a late fee and get a 3-month extension period to finish all requirements.
- Late Fee For Thai Massage Courses: $175
- Late Fee For 2-day Specialized Courses: $60
- Late Fee For 3-day Specialized Courses: $80
OR
B) Retake the last level of training that was previously completed (For Thai Massage courses: $175. For Specialized Courses: 50% off regular price.) They will then have another full year to complete requirements.
8. Upon completion of each level, students have a 3-year limit to begin the next LEVEL of training.
9. Students who exceed the 3-year limit to pursue the next level of training are required to:
A) Complete one 3-hour on-site supervision (at the Lotus Palm Centre) with a teacher ($195)
OR
B) Complete a video supervision if they are from out of town and cannot do an on-site 3-hour supervision with a teacher ($195)
OR
C) Retake the last level of training that was previously completed (For Thai Massage courses: $175. For Specialized Courses: 50% off regular price.)
before starting the following level of training.
10. Should the certification requirements not be met, Lotus Palm reserves the right not to issue a certificate. In this case, the certification application fee is non-refundable.
